Sean Borchardt Joins Ascension as Vice President/Producer in Employee Benefits Practice
WALNUT CREEK, California – Ascension Insurance, Inc. is pleased to announce that Sean Borchardt has joined its Pan American Western Region Benefits team as Vice President and Producer in their Fresno office. Sean has over 25 years of experience as an award-winning sales professional in the Central Valley, with an extensive background in agriculture, insurance and non-profits.
Sean started his career in the insurance and financial planning business with New York Life in 2001. After serving in the Marine Corps and finishing business school at Fresno State, he worked with a variety of companies and agencies, both public and private.

Previously, Borchardt was an Employee Benefits Consultant at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG), where he delivered comprehensive health and welfare consultative services. Prior to joining AJG, Sean was a Co-Founder and CEO of SeniorCare Organizational Systems, as well as a Partner at Beechwood Wealth Advisors.
Sean holds his State of California Life and Health Insurance License, has earned the Life Underwriter’s Training Council Fellowship Designation, and holds the FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65 Licenses.
