Life Happens Welcomes Michael Weintraub as Treasurer
Life Happens announced today that Ascension Insurance, Inc.’s Michael L. Weintraub will be joining its board of directors as its new treasurer effective January 1, 2017. Life Happens is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping consumers take personal financial responsibility through the ownership of life insurance and related products. Since its inception in 1994, Life Happens has provided high-quality, independent, and objective information to people seeking help with their insurance-buying decisions.
Michael, who is president of Ascension’s retirement division, has been involved with Life Happens for many years. He first served as a board member and then as board chair in 2011. He is active in numerous industry organizations including the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals®, where he also served as president of its foundation, as well as the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, where he was a board member.
